2022 GCYFRG Dissertation Prize Winner

2022

The Geographies of Children, Youth and Families Research Group are delighted to announce the winner of our 2022 RGS/IBG Undergraduate Dissertation Prize.

Submissions were of an excellent standard showing innovation, theoretical development and critical thinking in research on the Geographies of Children, Youth and Families.  We thank all of those who submitted an entry and congratulate the winner.

This year's winner is Yasmeen Reznik (Coventry University).

 

Yasmeen is the winner of the first prize of £100 and a one-year subscription to Children’s Geographies journal for her excellent dissertation on: ‘Consuming  Parenthood: negotiating the trajectories of a new-born'

This year´s second prize was awarded to Emily Moore (University of Cambridge).

​

Emily is the winner of the second prize of £50 for her dissertation on: ‘Belief in the meritocracy? Children's imagined futures in the stratified world. An intimate perspective'
